Another Chase British Airways 100,000 points offer & 1st year free

Here it comes again - Chase has brought back this 100K offer for its British Airways Visa:

• You will get 50,000 bonus Avios after $2,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening;
• 25,000 bonus Avios after $10,000 in purchases within the first year of account opening;
• Plus an additional 25,000 bonus Avios after you make an additional $10,000 in purchases also within the first year of account opening.

So a total of 100K Avios after spending $20K within a year, much like the previous offer.  However, while the standard British Airways Visa does not waive the annual fee for 1st year, the terms of this offer seem to suggests the 1st year annual is waived.  Click on the "Pricing and Terms" at the bottom of the application page and you will see.
