In the past couple of years, Chase had the similar 60,000 offers a few times and also had a one-time 70,000 points offer (but without the annual fee waiver).
The regular signup offer for Chase Ink Plus is 50,000 Ultimate Rewards points. Now for a limited time, Chase has increased the signup bonus to 60,000 points while keeping the annual fee waived for the first year, saving $95. There is no online link - you have to open the new account in a Chase branch. You need to spend $5,000 within 3 months to get the signup bonus.

The 80K offer for the Chase IHG Rewards MC has just expired a few days ago. Now the best offer for this card is 70,000 points, increased from the regular 60K. You will need to spend $1,000 within 3 months of card opening and the first year annual fee is waived as always (saving $49).
Landing page Application page Since Chase is changing IHG Rewards Club credit card from Visa to MasterCard, we have been having difficulty in getting the 80K offer links work. The old Visa link expired for obvious reasons and there has been a limited time when a MasterCard link was working before it expired. Now per this flyertalk thread, there is another link which is reported to give you 80,000 IHG points after you spend $1,000 within first 3 months even though the application page itself does not indicate so. Based on our past experience, this type of links will work as long as Chase keeps the page active.

For the Small Business Week (June 16 - June 22, 2013), Chase temporarily increases signup bonuses for its Ink Plus credit card and Ink Bold charge card from 50,000 points to 60,000 points each. Since they are considered two different products, if you sign up and get approved for both, you may earn 120,000 points in total. Also for each card, the spending requirement to get 60,000 points has been reduced from $10,000 to $5,000 within 3 months! Note that two other Ink cards - Ink Cash and Ink Classic will have a temporary 5,000 points bump each. You may have noticed that we seldom talk about how much we value miles and points since it is highly personal and subjective. However, this kind of major devaluation certainly has major negative impact on the hotel credit cards and we feel that we need to give some analysis here. We will go over the several hotel loyalty programs in this post.
Finally, let me share the new value we assign to one point in each program, and like always your value may vary:
[GONE] IHG Priority Club (now IHG Rewards Club) Visa from Chase 80,000 points & 1st year free7/1/2012 [Update 3/13/14] Both links have expired.
[Update 12/7/13] Since the Priority Club has now been renamed IHG Rewards Club, we update the title of this post. However we believe that the link in the original post still works. We also discovered a new link here. Please be advised that the spending requirement has been raised to $1,000 within 3 months. This also applies to the original link below. [Original Post 7/2012] This offer has been around for a while - receive 80,000 Priority Club points after the 1st use (NOW needs $1,000 within 3 months). Since there is no landing page to show that you will get 80K, I did not feel very comfortable to post it here. However, since there have been quite a few people reporting they received the bonuses through the link, I will go ahead and post the application link. Note the link is under the domain MyChaseCreditCards.com so it is certainly legit but it will redirect you to another domain fni-stl.com which is kind of odd. We reviewed Priority Club Visa and think this is a great card to keep in the drawer after the 1st year due to the annual free night (with capacity control). |
