Capital One Venture 40,000 points (1st year free)

Capital One has brought us another limited time offer for its Venture Rewards Credit Card - 40,000 points after spending $3,000 within 3 months. Previous offers on this card include 100,000 points (in 2012) and 50,000 points (in January 2014). So it is up to you if you want to jump on this time or wait for a better offer.

[Original Post] Amex and SPG ran this limited time promotion once every year in the pas several years, and now it is back. We have never seen a better deal, so apply before 6/30/14 if you haven't had one of these cards. Open a new Amex SPG Card (personal or business), one of our favorite credit cards, you will earn 10,000 starpoints after the first use and another 20,000 starpoints after spending $5,000 within 6 months. Starpoints are one of most valuable miles/points currencies out there, and not only can be redeemed for Starwood hotels but also can be transferred to 30+ airline partners' miles programs, including American, US Airways, Alaska, Asiana, Singapore, etc. Please see our featured review SPG vs. MR vs. UR for details. As always the $65 annual fee is waived for the first year. If you apply both, you could have a total 60K points. However, since Amex has been more strict about opening two cards on the same day, you'd better open one card first and then wait at least a week before apply the second one.
