Amex Business Gold 75,000 points offer comes back again and this time for 3 days. T&C says it ends on May 17th. Amex has run this promotion many many times in the past, mostly for just one day. You need to spend $10,000 within 4 months to get 75K points.

Chase Marriott Premier Visa is one of the cards you may want to pay the annual fee and keep it in drawer. The regular signup offer is 50,000 points; however the best offer we blogged before was 70,000 points. Now there is a landing page showing 70,000 points, but when you click "APPLY NOW" you will be told the offer is no longer available and you will be re-directed to the regular 50K offer page. It has been reported that if you follow the following steps you will be able to apply for 70K points offer. We tested it and it worked!
1. Log into your Marriott Rewards account (if you don't have one, creating one takes two minutes). 2. Click the 50K offer somewhere at the bottom of the page. That takes you to a regular 50K offer page. 3. Stay on the same page, change the web address to "https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/marriottpremier/70p1ksh/", and hit enter. 4. Now you will see the 70K offer. Take a screenshot, hit "APPLY NOW", and your personal information will populate the application page - you are good to go! The offer details: receive 70,000 Marriott Rewards points after spending $1,000 within 3 months. The $85 annual fee is waived for the first year. [Update 2/15/14] Old links have expired.

However, there is a special offer open to public that gives 50,000 miles: you earn 20,000 miles after the first use and an additional 30,000 miles after spending $5,000 within 90 days. The $79 annual fee is not waived for the 1st year. The T&C says that you will be first considered for the Premier World MasterCard, but if you don't qualify you may receive the Platinum MasterCard. This is typical with Barclays cards. However, no matter which version you receive, you will be able to receive the full 50,000 miles once you spend $5,000 within 90 days. The landing page for the 50,000 miles offer (dead) We have no intention to review this credit card product as of now, but will summarize its features here (Premier Wold MasterCard). You earn 2x miles on Lufthansa, and 1x on everything else. You will receive an annual economy class companion pass upon 1st use of the card as well as each anniversary. Since Miles & More is a SPG transfer partner, for general spending you'd better use Amex SPG since it returns 1.25 mile per dollar spent. |
