Mercedes-Benz also have another co-branded Amex card - Platinum Card exclusive for Mercedes Benz which is not advertised on Amex website. Please see both cards on MBFS website. Supposedly M-B co-branded Platinum Card shall have all the benefits as the regular Amex Platinum plus some M-B exclusive benefits and it costs $25/year more. Now there is an 50,000 points promotional offer going on but the $475 annual fee is not waived for the 1st year. We are not exactly sure if 100K Bonus ID (see the post below) could be applied to the card but if you want to sign up the card it won't hurt to try.
Dr. Credit Card just reviewed the new Amex Mercedes-Benz Credit Card, which has a 5-3-2-1 earning structure and costs $95/year.

[Update 11/1/2013] The offer has expired.
[Update 9/5/2011] It is amazing that Amex hasn't pulled the old link (even though the landing page is fare gone) for more than a year - it is still up as of writing. What is more, Amex has just introduced a slightly better deal: get 50K after spending $5,000 within 3 months - the spending requirement has been reduced by $5K. The best deal on this card was of course the 1-day 75K deal that Amex ran several times in the past. But if you did miss one of those, this one is not shabby at all. Landing page for the new 50K offer (expired) Application page for the new 50K offer (expired) [Original Post 8/29/11] Amex recently overhauled its Business Gold Card - now it has similar 3-2-1 earning structure like one of our favorite - Amex PR Gold Card. And what is even better is they are offering 50,000 points as the signup bonus (after spending $10K within 5 months) with the 1st year free ($175 saving). We will review the card pretty soon and the application page can be found here. Our review is up [11/20/2011]. [These may be far gone by now] There are also two widely reported Amex card offers - they are targeted but many people succeeded in being bumped into these offers. You can try your luck - sign up the cards through Amex website and after approval send security message to ask them apply Bonus ID to your account: Amex Platinum Card 100,000 points ($450 annual fee not waived) targeted offer - Bonus ID 3882 or 5748 Amex Premier Rewards Gold Card 75,000 points (1st year free) targeted offer - Bonus ID 6661 We reported Amex Delta SkyMiles Gold signup bonus (up to 50,000 miles with 1st year free) a while ago. It seems targeted since you will have to put in your Delta SkyMiles account number. Now the Amex Delta SkyMiles Platinum is offering 30,000 miles + 5,000 MQMs + 2 Sky Club day passes after the first use, and another 10,000 miles + 10,000 MQMs after spending $1,000 within 3 months. However, the $150 annual fee is not waived for the first year. I would say this one is very attractive for someone who needs that 15K MQMs. Please also see our review on Amex Delta Gold & Platinum Credit Cards for detailed analysis.
Amex Delta Platinum signup link [Update 2/14/13] Offer has expires.
Barclays US Airways Premier World MasterCard is offering up to 60,000 miles with the first year annual fee waived ($89 value). Here is the breakdown of the 60,000 miles: receive 40,000 miles after the 1st purchase, receive up to 10,000 miles with balance transfer within 30 days (1 mile for 1 dollar transferred, but there is 3% balance transfer fee), and receive 10,000 miles upon anniversary for each year as a card member. So in reality, this is a 40,000 miles signup bonus, which is still the highest we have seen with this card. Also through this offer, you will get 10,000 miles upon each anniversary, which more than offsets the annual fee! Note this is not a standard feature but rather a limited time offer. Please see our review for detailed analysis for the card. The application link is here. Dr. Credit Card presents two new featured reviews: side by side comparison of three most popular programs that allows miles/points transfer: Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) vs. Membership Rewards vs. Ultimate Rewards, and a thorough review on pretty much everything you need to know about airport lounge access.
