This new offer is for CitiBusiness ThankYou card which carries no annual fee. Earn 25,000 points after you spend $3,000 within the first 3 months, and an additional 25,000 points after you spend $3,000 within the next 3 months. So in order to get the total 50K you need to spend $6,000. The page says it ends 12/20/2012 and we shall see if the application page will be kept alive past that time.

For comparison, Citi ThankYou Premier has constantly offered 50K per card, meaning you may rack up 100K points by signing up both Visa and MasterCard versions. On one occasion, the $125 annual fee is waived for the first year. Citi ThankYou Preferred which carries no annual fee, offered 50K bonus only once in the past.
