With the major devaluation of Citicard's protection benefits kicking in on September 22, 2019, we have been busy updating many pages as well as our rankings. Most obviously, four Citi credit cards (Citi Prestige, Citi AA Executive, Citi Premier, Citi AA Platinum Select) all fell out of the Top Credit Cards for Protection. As a matter of fact, Citicards dropped from the very top to the very bottom with regards to travel and consumer protection.

Probably in another post - Barclays also confirmed a few changes to the protection benefits coming 11/1/19. They are removing purchase protection, return protection, price protection, extended warranty, and trip delay (need to confirm if this applies to all WEMCs)! The only thing added is cellphone protection.
